Fencing

Fencing

Fences are used predominately for marking out boundaries, privacy and security. This does not mean they have to be boring. There are many different types of fences. We use a good quality, strong, all weather timber, guaranteed to last.

When choosing a fence we recommend you go for the maximum your budget allows, as a weak fence even if properly erected will struggle in high winds. A lap fence with concrete posts makes an excellent boundary fence in a windy area. Fencing can also be used as a wind break to protect more vulnerable plants.

Fencing can also be decorative, as in picket fencing or trellis. It can be used to sub-divide a garden to add interest or to separate off portions, for example, a vegetable plot. Or to hide unsightly areas like the bins.

We will give you proper advice on maintaining your fence through the winter months.
